Us Shimmer crew will be hosting an evening session in a secret location from 9PM til late alongside some of Dublin's most loved DJ's. It'll be pure house party vibes with ourselves, @govern3ss, @selkydj, @___jwy___ and @benbix.wav on the buttons, all powered by the immensely powerful @rubadubhifi sound system.

We are very excited to be putting this on. There's nothing more we love collectively than simply getting together and having the night accompanied by incredible tunes and energy, with faces both familiar and new.

Spraoi Mór welcomes the chugfather himself, Richard Sen, to Dublin.

Sen is an enigma, his sets broad and ever changing, weaving their way through a plethora of genres and styles, encompassing light and dark, yin and yang. We have been long time listeners of his Friday show on Do!! You!!! Radio and leaped at the opportunity to bring him to Dublin. Whether you're a chatroom freak, or have never heard of him before, this will be one for the books. Expect the unexpected and get ready to absolutely Sen-d it.

The intimate setting of Hang Dai is the perfect canvas for the night. Killer soundsystem, glowing dancefloor, impeccable vibes. With only 90 tickets available, this will sell out. Do not sleep.

Fetish clubs and festivals; dark basements and back rooms; disco pubs and super-clubs. Richard has done it all, globally. His authenticity, experience and 30 year history in dance music map out a unique story.

Former London graffiti artist, Sen began DJing in 1989 and is recognised as an elder statesman, an educator and an expert on dance music. Richard is a maverick. Unpredictable, mysterious and engaging, his DJ sets always stand apart from the others. Sen has more music to call upon than most. His sets tell a story and reflect a deep understanding of dance-floor dynamics; this enables Sen to create the atmosphere in a room whilst taking risks and challenging his audience. His sound draws from 1970s, 80s and 90s influences and places them firmly in the present. Richard's genre-fluid selection seamlessly flows back and forth between: retro and future, dark and light, disco, Italo, wonky house, electro, breakbeat and deep techno.

Sen has released music, more recently, under his own name and previously under the guises of Bronx Dogs (1997-2003) and Padded Cell (2005-2012). His output includes singles on his own label, Darkness Is Your Candle and for like-minded labels, Klasse Wrecks and Public Release.

Richard remains passionate yet professional with impeccable taste. He currently has a weekly radio show for Charlie Bones' station, Do!! You!!! which allows him to narrate his history, explore his vast collection and introduce his eclectic taste to a new generation. He currently has an album and another compilation of early UK dance music (on the Ransom Note label), both due for release in 2023.

Still a fan at heart, some of his favourite DJs who have supported and played his music include David Mancuso, DJ Harvey and Andrew Weatherall.

Octo Octa is a Producer and DJ that is constantly attempting to make auto-biographical work that will have you smiling, crying, shouting, and dancing. head of the revered T4T LUV NRG imprint.
Octo Octa's Hope, Community and commitment to build a better tomorrow isn’t just apparent in her music though: follow Maya Bouldry-Morrison and you’ll find she’s handing out knowledge and tips on how to equip up-and-coming artists and together with her partner Eris Drew has created a vital platform under the T4T LUV NRG moniker.

Joining her on the night is Bull Horris a Dublin based DJ and visual artist who has been a consistent presence in the local and international scene over the past few years. Tender co-founder and resident for Strawberries, their love of the dancefloor and the cathartic moments it can bring translates into the music heard throughout each set. A charging rhythm laced with sometimes political, oftentimes camp vocals, chord progressions that reminisce on that distinctly Euro sound, and an orientation towards fun are the driving forces behind the sounds that Bull Horris loves to hear and play out.
