B-Origin Bio:
B-Origin is a Drum & Bass DJ/Producer from Dublin. He started mixing in 2010, developing a love for Dubstep, amidst its popularity in those years.
After DJ'ing for several years at gigs and festivals, eventually got into producing music and found a new love for Drum & Bass, along with similar faster tempo based music styles.
After a debut release alongside SteppA on inHabit Recordings, has now released further tracks on Boey Audio, Sixteen Step Records and Rollout Records. You can catch B- Origin spinning high energy sets with plenty of tear-out basslines and ragga licks throughout.
Charlotte Walsh Bio:
Charlotte has recently made a name for herself in Cork and beyond, playing in venues such as Cyprus Avenue, Pharmacia, Wigwam, and the Telegraph Building.
With an affinity for high energy, percussive heavy sounds and bouncy bass lines, Charlotte’s sets traverse the spectrum of dance music. She blends elements from a wide range of genres, from techno, bass, and jungle, to progressive house and breakbeat.
One constant throughout her sets is the creation of a wonderfully refreshing and playful buzz to keep you bopping into the early hours.
Holly Foyle Bio:
Mayo and Dublin based @hollyfoyle1 although unglued to any genre, has her finger on the (cue) button when it come to bass music. With a love for big sound systems, she curates the heavy, dubby, gritty and sexy side of tunage ranging from grime, ghetto tech, electro, jungle, dubstep and beyond
Rub A Dub Bio:
Rub A Dub Hi-Fi was set up in 2014 to promote conscious reggae music across all styles from Rocksteady and Roots through to Steppas and Ragga Jungle. They draw from a wide collection of 45s as well as exclusive dubplates, specials and unreleased material.
Originally organising dances using borrowed speakers the Rub A Dub Crew organised dances in various venues in Dublin and Dún Laoghaire as well as performing out and about as guest selectors at gigs and festivals all over the country. Feeling that Dublin was lacking any regular Soundsystem dances plans started forming to build a Sound. Their first dance with the full Soundsystem was in February 2017 - a link-up session between Irie Vibes Sound System alongisde veteran mic man Joseph Lalibela and Rub A Dub Hi-Fi with their good friend Ras Tinny. Rub A Dub have linked up with many amazing singers and selectors on the Irish scene and over the past three years they have had the honour of working with artists travelling from foreign such as Alpha Steppa, Chopstick Dubplate, Brother Culture, Flowdan, Mala, Mr. Williamz, Earl 16, Cheshire Cat, Serial Killaz, Parly B, Eva Lazarus, Gorgon Sound, Rider Shafique and Congo Natty.
Over the years Rub A Dub Hi-Fi have brought their Sound to festivals across the country. Curating and powering many stages at different festivals and events. After launching their new bass music night in 2018 called Subconscious they held events hosting Parly B, Jacky Murda, Mr. Williamz, Brother Culture and to finish the year they brought Deep Medi don Mala for a night no one will forget. In November 2019 they hosted Channel One Soundsystem who have pioneered soundsystem culture for 40+ years.
10 years of Rub A Dub forward ever, backward never!
