Lineup Rosanna (DSD) Prun (DSD) The Advent Rosanna is a Dublin based DJ with a preference for vinyl. She is a resident for Wrong Channel, Scart Broadcasting Systems night, has supported Rob Hall for Time in Body and has recently played at Open Ear festival. Prun is an electro music pusher. Djing and promoting for many years, he started the Deep Sea Dweller night in Galway with the goal of introducing the west to the electro music he reveres. 4 years on, and having showcased some the the country's most talented acts, Deep Sea Dweller has gone from strength to strength, bringing some of the best in the electro world to Ireland's shores, such as Dopplereffekt, Kerrie, L.F.T. and Plant43 to name but a few. expect sub aquatic electro beats of the finest. Cisco Ferreira, known as The Advent and based in London, can be described in a variety of ways: as a musician, a trailblazer, a sound designer, a consistent presence, a tenacious individual, a rebel, an icon, an outsider, and a remarkable live performer. However, The Advent is primarily recognised for his unique take on what we refer to as Techno. From the moment the young Portuguese Cisco encountered Acid House in the London clubs he frequented, his mission has been to carve out his niche in the electronic music landscape. As he recently expressed, “I’ve been doing this for quite a few years and I’m not going anywhere,” which encapsulates his determination. Unlike some of his peers, you won’t catch Ferreira engaging in sensationalistic antics or fretting over the integrity of mainstream artists. He embodies everything you appreciate about techno, minus the unnecessary theatrics. Cisco's label Kombination Research has been a platform for electro and techno of the highest calibre since the 90s. He will perform an electro DJ set for the night.
