Joe Claussell, Idjut Boys and some of Ireland's best selectors spin top-drawer house and disco on a gorgeous Klipschorn sound system. A real no-brainer.
The 3rd edition of our Dublin Disco All-Dayer comes with another cosmic double bill of headliners.
Neither Joe Claussell or The Idjut Boys have paid Dublin a visit in quite some time - they'll be wowing our dancers for a combined 7 hours through our beautiful Klipschorn soundsystem.
Claussell, of course, is known for his shamanic style of DJ'ing as 1/3 of the infamous New York party collective 'Body and Soul', along with Francois K and Danny Krivit.
The Idjuts, meanwhile, are modern disco renegades who consistently push the genre into the 21st Century, while paying tribute to the late 70's/early 80's maestros that defined the sound.
As ever, our international headliners will be joined by a cavalcade of Irish selectors spinning across 2 rooms, from festival organiser Pablo of Fatty Fatty, to renowned up and comer Ricky Chong, the Balaeric gods that are Belfast Music Club, and the house warriors from Deeper Groove.
Orlagh is truly a unique house set on 50 acres on extensive grounds in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, with uninterrupted views of Dublin City Centre, Howth Head and the Irish Sea. There's easy access to everything the great City of Dublin has to offer - it's less than 20 minutes to Dublin Airport and even less into the city centre but with the beauty of the Dublin mountains just moments away too. There's a full bar and festival friendly food on the go from Zero Zero Pizza and Bish Bosh Kitchen too.
The dancefloor itself is in a converted church hall with some of the most breathtaking, panoramic views of Dublin you're ever likely to see. Prepared to be blown away, not just by that, but by the lovingly installed Klipschorn loudspeakers.
These are the beautiful horn-driven speakers that drove the dancers wild at the seminal 1970's New York party space The Loft.
They are the original and very best audiophile speakers, giving your ears a sensual sonic massage no matter how long you spend on the floor.
A whole lot of love and raw human emotion go into making the system sing, and the results - well, you can hear them for yourself on Saturday February 1st!
