Dublin Modular 'MODULATION' (Hi-Five Series) - Festival of Electronic Music & Arts.
We can't wait to share the experience of activating Dublin City’s Smock Alley Theatre for electronic music & arts! (Honestly. one of the most beautiful spaces in the City).
We'll be delving into themes relating to running event/parties, gender representation and Sound system culture. Inviting artists and collective we feel have been doing big movement for culture and community in Ireland.
Festival of Electronics and Visual Arts - Workshops, Talks, Demonstrations and Performances at Smock Alley Theatre. Developing Club Culture in alternative spaces x
This is the 2nd Event as part of our Hi-Five Series, Celebrating 5 Years of Dublin Modular!
Tickets sold here on RA!
We have a full day of events in Smock Alley Theatre; it's an old converted church and is one of Dublins finest venue gems. We're privileged to be given the unique chance to take over such a historically beautiful space.
All 3 spaces will be programmed for Dublin Modular attendees!
1. Main Theatre,
2. Banquet Hall,
3. Boys School.
A ticket allows you free travel in all spaces but be aware there are capacity limits for each perfromance space. So when the timetables are released make sure to be at your favourite artists performance space early to get in before it’s full! The magic is if one space is full; there will be something else happening in another space you can attend instead!
Learn, Listen, Talk and Walk… And of course you'll be dancing too but that’s just a given at this point for our events!
More information on Artists and Timetable will be published next week so make sure to keep an eye out! We're super excited to spill the beans on this one and can promise it's one of our favourite line ups yet!
Tickets are heavily subsidised and this is a huge opportunity to get to use such a historic space in Dublin City Centre - thanks to the support from the Arts Council of Ireland and Dublin City Council (Arts Office).
Lots of Love,
Dublin Modular
