James Ruskin is a UK techno legend and technically phenomenal DJ. He returns to Dublin for the first time in seven years this Saturday at Wigwam for Omen. Don't miss it.
On September 7th, we welcome legendary James Ruskin back to Dublin after his last visit back in 2017. A long anticipated return!
With a musical history that can be traced back to mid-80s electro and hip-hop, Ruskin brings a long background and deep knowledge of underground electronic music to his productions and DJing. James Ruskin has become a cornerstone of UK techno, emerged in the mid-‘90s as the style was in the midst of a famously fertile period, thanks to trailblazing releases from labels such as Downwards, Peacefrog and Soma Quality Recordings. Ruskin arrived with his own label, Blueprint, in 1996. and has been a standard in techno ever since. Oliver Ho, Regis, Truncate, The Advent and Ruskin himself are just a few names that has released on the record label throughout the years. Ruskin is also a co-author of the legendary project O/V/R (with Regis).
