On September 7th, we welcome legendary James Ruskin back to Dublin after his last visit back in 2017. A long anticipated return! With a musical history that can be traced back to mid-80s electro and hip-hop, Ruskin brings a long background and deep knowledge of underground electronic music to his productions and DJing. James Ruskin has become a cornerstone of UK techno, emerged in the mid-‘90s as the style was in the midst of a famously fertile period, thanks to trailblazing releases from labels such as Downwards, Peacefrog and Soma Quality Recordings. Ruskin arrived with his own label, Blueprint, in 1996. and has been a standard in techno ever since. Oliver Ho, Regis, Truncate, The Advent and Ruskin himself are just a few names that has released on the record label throughout the years.
