David Kitt returns under his New Jackson alias with a full live show and a special DJ set to close the night. This marks his first appearance at Connollys in support of his latest album OOPS!… POP, out now via Permanent Vacation.
The album, described as “a towering achievement of soaring catharsis in melody and song,” is New Jackson’s most direct and euphoric body of work to date. Featuring contributions from Rita Lynn, Jape, Fehdah, and more, it’s a kaleidoscopic blend of techno, house, pop and soul.
Recorded over five years and three countries, OOPS!… POP distills Kitt’s studio wizardry into a lean, joyous, dance-ready form.
Expect deep grooves, 80s boogie nods, electro psychedelia — and a DJ set from David Kitt himself to round out the night.
