Spás - 1st Installment

Lineup Opul Noisy Chilli COBI TRYG Spás pronounced "spaws" and translates from Irish as "space" is a new electronic music collective based in Dublin, whose mission is to create an immersive, authentic experience. Born out of a love for vinyl, events and festivals, the aim is to create an interdisciplinary community where, through collaboration with collectives and artists from other fields such as audio-visual art and production, we can help push Ireland's nightlife to the next level. Opul is a Canadian producer and DJ. After cutting his teeth in Montreal clubs and warehouses with his Comm.union techno collective, he moved to Chengdu, China where he DJ’ed in various clubs around the country. He has released two EPs on Montreal label Archipel, and is currently based in Manchester, where he recently debuted his live set for a new residency with ambient collective Positive Harmony. Faby Santos, known as Noisy Chilli is a Brazilian DJ who has made Dublin her creative base, where she contributes hugely to the local scene. Noisy Chilli's style blends Electro and Acid and as a resident DJ with the Smile Collective, she’s built a reputation for delivering high-impact sets that captivate audiences with seamless transitions and unexpected twists. COBI is one of the heads of Spás. Originally from Oviedo and having spent a few years running and playing at events in Madrid, is now based in Dublin. COBI will bring a mixed bag of records with a blend of 90s/early 2000s UK and US Electro and House, holding down his infectious groove. A resident of the notorious Reclaim the Mainframe parties, TRYG is a DJ who aims to celebrate the past while looking forward and not getting lost in nostalgia. An avid crate digger with a taste formed by a decade in and out of London’s record shops. Expect to hear the lush textures and driving melodies of golden era Chicago and Detroit records alongside modern productions ranging from Tech House, Electro, Breakbeat, and Dub-wise UK bass weight. This will be our first event and will take place in the Loft at Rascals Brewery, Inchicore. Tunes start at 7pm, so get down early to enjoy the full journey.
