Shannen Blessing & MAV666 will be takikng over Tengu end of Jan. Shannen Blessing is a young DJ & producer hailing from the east coast of Ireland. She has been going strength to strength within recent years, quickly becoming a favourite on Irish dancefloors and cementing her name within the Berlin techno scene. She has supported acts such as Dax J, DVS1, Sunil Sharpe and Jeff Mills to name a few. As well as receiving shows in Vancouver, Glasgow, Berlin, Belfast, Dublin and more with acclaimed techno institutions Boiler Room, Teletech, Sub Club, Shine, Index, SWG3, Remise, Club OST & more. Shannen’s been honing in on a sound that is centered around bouncing rhythms and modular-inspired synth sequences. Her discography so far seems to be an ode to classic oldschool techno, while also intertwining her signature churning techno grooves. With a keen interest in paying homage to the origins of the art form, Shannen enjoys playing vinyl whilst also keeping up with her incredibly unique and hard hitting underground sound. MAV666 is a techno DJ/producer. Her sets deliver a broad range of sounds, ranging from driving paces and percussive elements to bass driven, groovy and psychedelic tracks. You can always expect a blend of high energy and euphoria from her sets. She has had a number of headline shows around Ireland and has supported the likes of UFO95, Carmen Electro, SPFDJ, I hate Models, Wallis, TRYM, Klangkuenstler, Chlär, Tommy Holohan, to name a few. She has played at festivals and notable venues around Ireland, Germany, Ibiza and Scotland such as Life, Outset, Fuinneamh, Time4Dance, Telegraph Building, Suicide Club, Eden and SWG3. MAV666 recently had her Boiler Room debut and the stream has been extremely well received. The hour long journey delves into her varied styles and showcases her fast-paced mixing style and artistry.
