Lineup Ngoni Egan Cignol (2) LIVE Lolz Yamamori Tengu closes out 2024 announcing the venue's fourth residency! We've invited Irish hero Ngoni Egan for 3 shows over the course of 3 months. Ngoni invites Irish Natives, Cignol for a Live set and Lolz for show number 1. Raised in Dublin and based in Holland, Ngoni Egan is a machine-wares producing DJ whose sound is up there with the very best of modern day standards. Having transplanted to Rotterdam after running the gamut of Ireland’s club-scape - frequenting Irish venues like The Bernard Shaw, Yamamori Tengu, Wigwam and Index - his DJ-and-live sets have seen him line up internationally alongside DJ Hell Helena Hauff, Privacy and DJ Stingray to landing bookings inside Glitch, Orbit, DGTL and Dekmantel Selectors festivals. Cignol AKA Paul Hammock hails from the UK but now lives in Dublin, Ireland. A self-taught musician, what Cignol lacks in formal musical training he makes up for in an intense dedication to mastering his craft. A child of the 80s and an obsessive music fan of over 30 years, he has developed his sound by moulding the influences that captivated his youth with his own personal creative touch. With releases on labels such as Lunar Disko, Craigie knowes, Unknown To The Unknown, Distant Worlds and Orson Records, Cignol is a vital artist, whose productions over the last decade and a half have become key to our understanding of the paradigms of deep and harmonic electronic dance. Cignol’s music is a rich tapestry of electronic sounds, combining technical prowess with emotional depth to create a unique and compelling auditory experience. His sound is characterised by intricate melodies, retro rhythms, and a deep, immersive sound that captivates listeners. His live performances are known for their energy and innovation, and feature a mix of hardware and software to create a dynamic and engaging experience. Described as a lynchpin of Irish electronic music, Lolz is established as one of the scene’s most in-demand DJs. Not one to be pinned down to a specific style or sound, her sets have rocked underground dancefloors, radio stations and major outdoor events in Ireland and abroad. A seasoned promoter and events curator, Lolz has showcased local, international, upcoming and established artists in her home city of Galway and beyond; while taking to the decks in her own right to support names likes CCL, Lena Willikens, Identified Patient, Scratchclart, Helena Hauff, and OR:LA. Behind the scenes, Lolz builds communities, she is co-founder of GASH Collective, a platform that encourages women to create, share and collaborate together in the field of electronic music in Ireland.
