Lineup Rub A Dub Hifi Soundsystem Ambit Jonezy Kelsey B2B Ciara May Queen Beatz aka GOVERNESS Hosted by MC Mad X For Culture Night this year Tengu is focusing on Soundsystem Culture. We have invited in local system Rub A Dub Hifi to the space as well as inviting a wonderful lineup of DJs who are well hearsed to playing on rigs like these. Expect all things dub from reggae, dubstep, jungle, dnb and more + we have MC Mad X hosting the night and bringing her fierce energy to the room! Full lineup: Ambit, GOVERNESS, Jonezy, Kelsey & Ciara May + MC MAD X This event is part of Dublin's Culture night Nocturnal Beats: Late Night Trail meaning it is free in for the public from 22.00! RSVP a spot and get down early as once we reach capacity there will be no more entries! Over the years Rub A Dub Hi-Fi have brought their Sound to festivals across the country. Curating and powering many stages at different festivals and events. After launching their new bass music night in 2018 called Subconscious they held events hosting Parly B, Jacky Murda, Mr. Williamz, Brother Culture and to finish the year they brought Deep Medi don Mala for a night no one will forget. In November 2019 they hosted Channel One Soundsystem who have pioneered soundsystem culture for 40+ years. MC and Sing-Jay Artist Mad-X from South London, has been performing at festivals, private parties, dances, stage shows and clubs for over 20 years, both nationally and internationally. Mad-X raw and unapologetic style was cultivated from an early age in the shebeems and dancehalls of 90s South London. As an MC, Mad-X style is a great accompaniment to most music genres but is undoubtedly heavily influenced from her early days in Reggae, Dub and 80s/90s Dancehall. Merged with current styles of MC’ing Mad-X goal is to perform on the biggest stages of the world. To date such stages include; Notting Hill Carnival, Leicester Carnival, Scala nightclub, Hootananny Brixton, and other clubs, festivals and dancehalls throughout the UK and Europe.
